Delhi to Amanbagh (near Alwar)-which route?

Hi all!

Planning to drive to Amanbagh from delhi this weekend.

Please advise best route/roads.

If anyone has the specific route to the hotel I would appreciate it. heard its hard to find.

There are two route

1. Either you take NH8 till Talamod (after shahpura, close to Achrol) and take a left to Ajabgarh. On this route you will get heavy truck traffic all the way till Achrol and broken roads from Achrol to Ajabgarh

2 Or after Daruhera you take Bhiwadi industrial area route and reach Alwar. Take Alwar Bypass and take the toll road that leads to Sikandara, Bandikui and Dausa. Look out for Rajgarh and From Rajgarh you will have to take the road to Tehla, and that will take you to Ajabgarh. The road from Rajgarh to Ajabgarh (amanbagh) is single lane and the rest I believe is good.

I would suggest you take route 2.

I was in sariska last weekend. #2 is good. #1 is a nightmare (we came back via alwar-behror-ggn). alwar-behror should be wiped off the map as a SH. 50km in just over 2 hours. Even the under construction NH8 has far too many patchwork sections to be decent + the incessant trucks make it a pain.

I'm sure the shahpura section will have just as bad NH8. Alwar OTOH has 2lane being widened to 4 lanes - so the central 2 lanes are mostly good except a couple of towns where there are big potholes here n there.
