Fiesta 1.6 or NHC Vtec

Good steering feel, good road grip, stable at highspeeds, comfortable in city, good ride at all speeds

Considering all the above which is a good choice?

Whats with all these polls? The safest thing at all speeds to my best guess is a battle tank. Put it up on the poll too.

Please.

Why is there no AVEO? It would have won had it been there. It is damn stabel at speeds above 150-160 too. Also it features the widest rubber.

I am sorry but you got the wrong cars. Honda City Vtec(new) is totally rubbish(sorry to use such hard words) but thats the only way i can describe her when talking about high speed stability on stock footwear. She seems to swing out of line at high speeds where the Old Vtec was sure footed. It was just a desparate move by Honda to get the Vtec tag back on the City.

Fiesta is a better package and good value for money compared to NHC Vtec which i feel is very expensive at that price.

Best among the two considering
good ride,
Both are similar
stability, safe at al speeds etc
At high speeds because of higher CG, NHC is unstable and it shakes while overtaking at high speeds.

and VFM
If you look at TCO Honda is VFM, if you just look at initial investment v/s feautre it is Fiesta.

Good steering feel,
Fiesta, though NHC steering is a bit light and may require getting used to
good road grip,
both
stable at highspeeds,
Fiesta in stock form, and NHC with wider rubber comes very close
comfortable in city,
NHC by far
good ride at all speeds
Fiesta, though NHC feels more comfy due to more space and cushier seats

All in all, NHC-VTEC with wider tyres - if you can afford the price - its worth all that hype ...
Else, Fiesta is better VFM (right now).. NHC takes the cake in TCO

just a lil thought on percieved TCO of vtec vs fiesta

taking petro prices at 45 ... after 1 lac km (city cond)
on the vtec (taking 14kpl) you spend rs 322500
on the fiesta(taking 12kpl) you spend rs 375000
you save 52500 on the city ... and how much do u think u'll save on service ??

ofcourse resale value(as things look now favor the city ... )

p.s initial diff in price = 1.2 lac (fiesta sxi non abs vs vtec)

so when it comes to VFM in the long run(1 lac+ km) city will pay off ... thanks to its resale most of all (as things are now)

Mumbai guys can now have customized interiors for their Citys. I recently saw an advert in the BT which showed different interiors for the City, including real light beige complete including steering with wood finish and center panel with wood finish. Is this a good move by honda or its just that Honda is feeling the heat for Ford/Chevrolet.
