Won't be relevant to add a new entrant to a poll which was started a year ago when the Verna was not around. Would be better to start a new thread/poll between NHC (non-Vtec), Aveo1.6, Fiesta 1.6 and Verna (Petrol). Or maybe wait a little more and add the NMB also.
baleno, but then safety features&looks are downside,compared to the other cars.

My vote is for the Fiesta 1.6 -- coz I own one :-)
Help me understand. No offence to any of the Baleno owners. If Baleno is such a good car, why did it not sell earlier. Did it become a good car overnight. People dont mind paying if the car is really good. I think that just at the current price it is a good deal. Yes it has a decent engine, looks are subjective - but still outdated.
Aveo seems like a good package - not sure why people are so reluctant
I feel New Honda City is overpriced.
For me it is the Ford Fiesta. It is Fun To Drive. They've got the pricing right. The looks though conservative are still good.
* Great engine, 16V/cylinder
* Good ride and handling
* Great after sales support by Maruti
* Better FE than all others
Of course, the Baleno!
Fiesta was a good choice, but after I saw the Baleno, that's it.
I am a performance man, and Baleno rocks the pants off all the compettition mentioned.

I would love to stand for the baleno,but the design is ageing,quality of plastics is lower than average,apart from the rocker engine i dont see anything else that i would derive from that car
Fiesta 1.6 on the other hand...will be my next buy..:)
Dude BAleno is a winner anyday compared to these cars.I own a Baleno and driven all of these.
Baleno has got the good feel factor.
It is contemporary from front,stylish from sides and classy from the back
And the engine,i love the way it roars at 175KMPH
all in all the best on road at such a afforadable price.

I almost bought this car until the Maruti ppl forced me for a Baleno test drive n that was it......Totally blew me....
I know many ppl who went to buy Esteem Vxi n Changed their minds after taking a test drive of Baleno....
I won't buy any of the mentioned cars.. :-)
I am contemplating to buy a Petra 1.6
People who do not drive Baleno, do not know what they are missing or rather finally missed.
I do not understand what people do with the plastic (as mentioned about Baleno plastic) while driving and of course enjoying the car. In my opinion, one should enjoy driving and speed rather looking at plastic.
i voted for the NHC.
