Alright fellows, plenty of debate in the C segment as things are hotting up. 2 new entrants, in a market that was largely pre-dominant with old warhorses. With introduction of Aveo and Fiesta, things are hotting up. I think this is an ideal time to see where the momentum of the market lies, are Baleno lovers and Honda City lovers still passionate about their cars, or given the chance they would go in for a newer car? We have seen polls comparing Baleno with Fiesta, Aveo with City, now its time to have a comprehensive poll and see where we all stand:
Honda City (non-vtech)
Chevy Aveo (1.6)
Ford Fiesta (1.6)
Baleno Vxi
Always NHC in all respects....
Always Baleno in terms of performance , interior space ,not bad backseat comfort &&&& vfm pricing.also do i get climate control.But downside is safety features when compared to aveo 1.6 :mad:
Uhh I hot baleno instead of city.. Aw well baleno's a decent car and the only one other than the civic I've drven.
I dont care much for the city but honda reliabilety is nothing to ignore.
Really difficult one!.... the heart says Baleno!
the brain says Aveo!
So basically... if I get the Baleno .. cheaper than the Aveo thats enough to turn towards it.
I would pick the Ford Fiesta 1.6, its a great all rounder though Baleno is cheaper and has better performance, its getting old now and the design looks too dated for me.
while the baleno is a scortching performer ... fiesta 1.6 is no slouch ... its the ford for me ... baleno rocks ... but its old ...i think its time for it to be replaced ... would prefer something fresh ... with better interiors than the baleno.

How bout including Accent in the poll?
The competition is actually between the Aveo, Fiesta and NHC.
Baleno is a much much better car overall.
i voted for the NHC....though i really wanted to vote for aveo...but i guess i was slightly biased this time...
The Baleno has good performance, reliability and Maruti service is the best. It's got good interior space too, but, I don't like the seats, the design is too old, the feel of the interior plastics is cheap and the car looks pathetic.
The Honda City is way too boring and ugly for me to be seen in and I haven't touched the Aveo yet.
That leaves me with the Ford Fiesta 1.6. Good performance, handling, comfort, looks and overall feel. Ford service.... I don't know. Still, nice car.

If you found FIESTA gives overall good feel then wait till you get into Aveo.
Aveo is definitely a good car, but I would much rather choose New Honda City.
Interiors - NHC, Aveo
Exteriors - Fiesta
FTD - Baleno anyday......
I dont think we can compare accent with these cars.i think accent is better compared with indigo,ford ikon.Btw i think Baleno is comparable to these cars :)

With good interiors and performance, Aveo 1. 6 will be my pick, second comes baleno from this list which is a VFM car.
