Guys I have a Problem

I have shortlisted 2 cars, Hyundai Verna and Honda City.
I will be driving around 40 KM's everyday, and an occassional long drive.
I would love to take the Honda City, but my only gripe is it's overpriced, forget that part. If it's a really god car as everyone says, i dont mind picking it up.

Now why did i pick the Verna??
The only reason i pick the Verna is apart from the fact that Hyundai's in India offer a good car and their VFM is pretty good, their A.S.S is very good, which would give me a peace of mind.

If anyone from Bangalore can give me some info about the Honda A.S.S, it will be greatly appreciated.

And one more thing, this is my first car...and all my frnds suggest me to always take a small car, for now and then pick a C-Seg car later on.
What do u guys say??

Please help!!!!

And thanks a lot in Advance!!!
