Here i am seeking advise before buying an Optra...

Optra LS 1.6 / Black / 13.5K Km / 5.5 Lac / Good Condition

Are the specs above decent enough to spend that kind of money into?
I know i wont get much assuming i sell the car after a couple of yrs but how bad would it hurt?

I need to have inputs... please brothers.. help a bro with info.

Its good deal. Try for 5.2 lacs, because you an pressurize the person who is selling since current Optra is being replaced by Magnum.

Optra is very good Luxury car which has good build and very sweet ride as well. You may need to upgrade tyres for better handling and comfort this site will give you very good information about tyre upgrade.

It might be bit high on maintanance but if taken properly there won't be much trouble about it, make sure car being sold has no problems.

Regards,

Ravi.

I would take this statement with a pinch of salt. Optra maintainance is cheaper then Toyota and Honda and costlier only to the Elantra.

Its a Good Deal for an optra. But do get all the information about the car.. Usage, Service records etc. and take a good mechanic with you.

And you will not loose much on the resale part as far as i think...

Thanks a lot folks for the inputs...

On the deal part... it's a basic sort of a model. not much used. I would look at the company service records as well and see if that gives any great info.
I am slightly concerned about the ride quality.. as I have been comparing it to Corolla (ha ha) obviously not a fair comparison.. but given a choice between a corolla with specs below what would you suggest?

Corolla-2004 / Pearl White / Auto - H4 / 28K km / 6.75Lac / some repair history

What should be the right option guys? Optra1.6 is certainly no corolla and thats whats making me think...

What Car Finally?

Is an Optra better than the Corolla in the specs and price mentioned?

As far as i understand an Auto Corolla is not really the kind of car market appreciates or looks forward to.

Please comment..
