It finally depends on u brother.
If the car is in good condition, u can go for it.
The Tornado is a comfortable car.
But the car is a petrol Guzzler.
Efficiency is not more than 8 kmpl as u may have noted.
But the car is really powerful enough.
If u get it at a good price , go for it,coz atleast u know the history of the car.

Hey CD,

It would be helpful if you told us the "second hand rate" the company is offering you, in numbers.

cheers

Well, would have suggest you to buy the accent but just think for a sec. the car has already covered 53000 kms. I personally don't think it would be a good idea to buy a car with that sort of mileage on it, especially Hyundai.

bunk the accent
53000 km is alot of mileage and troubles are bound to start creeping up now.
i suggest u go in for a new car like the petra.
its for 5.25 on road and is fully loaded .
for more details u can read GTOs test drive in team-bhp reviews section

Hey CD,

There are some pics and views on the new esteem here incase you have missed it
MUL to roll out new look Esteem.

Also, try and find out what price you get from the company, because sometimes you get very good deals from large companies, in which case it might be beneficial to purchase it and sell it off yourself if thats possible.

I can understand tata buy why fiat? it may be low on brand image partly due to their own stupidity and partly due to the immaturity of the indian car buyers but fiat has some of the most appropriate products for indian road conditions. I think u should check out the petra and give it a really serious consideration.

its the fiat petra
it si the best in its segment overall and there is no denying that .
the esteem is just not worth it and neither is the tata.
the ikon 1.3 is much better than them
the petra is the best when it comes to safety , features , value for money , reliability .........
i could go on bragging about its abilities.
i think a fiat petra with ure accents certis will be an awesome buy .
just go for it
if u intend to keep it for more than 3 years then there is npo looking back

the only problem that I feel in the Petra is the resale value
Fiat reasle value is pathetic .
U get 1.6 palio's one year used for 2.5 to 3.00 laks

Absolutely. And thats a problem that Fiat faces the world over - Massive depreciation. Why, Jeremy even commented the same on sister concern Alfa Romeo...over last sundays top gear!
