Elantra petrol has nothing much to talk about and sales curve says that.
If you like Elantra then go for D version. Find out more in this forum.

You'll be a happy buyer for sure. Ecstatic, after fitting a Pete's box.

Hi,

Elantra Petrol is an excellent car except that you tend to lose out on resale value if you buy a new car. Since you are buying a second-hand I would definitely recommend it as its VFM. On highways its a pleasure and I do a constant 150-160(You can push it more). I have used my elantra petrol very sparingly and its up for sale as I am going in for a upgrade. Car is excellent with all the toys(Sunroof, ABS, Double-Din Kenwood System, 12 cd changer, alloys, Beige Leather Sets, Leather Door trims and gear knob). Its run only 28,000 km now and its black in colour. Will sell it in a month or so , so that I can buy a 2008 Laura.

The 04 Model Elantra mentioned is mine and I am looking at a price of about 5.5 lakhs negotiable. Car is registered in Chennai. Let me know if interested.

Cheers

Hey, redsfx,
Did the older generation of Elantra have a sunroof option in India?
I still use my 2005 Elantra petrol. I have never seen an Elantra with sunroof!
