do get in touch with us during the hyderabad meets and you will know all the places in hyd for the work!

your other options are ford escort and opel astra!but its always better to buy the contessa with the isuzu heart for the kind of desire and plans you have for the car!
why not consider the M&M jeep?

You might get a Zen in that amount and you can go the E-Zen way.

If you have a good budget for modifications, I would suggest the Tata Sierra or Estate. You can make all the modifications you want and get engines also upgraded.

Check out the below link as well.

Considering you need a huge sized car, how about a well maintained Daewoo Nexia or Cielo? I have some one disposing a Black well maintained Cielo here in my office in Bangalore, PM if you are interested and I can hook you up to him.

Since you are on a budget, get a Jeep. You can *pimp* it up as you like, and it will be cheap to run too.

i also wanted to buy the tata sierra, but decided not to after the advice from team-bhp.

what i would sugegest is to go for a 95-96 carb'd esteem, they do their duty well in races, and you can modify it as well. you can probably get a 95 esteem for around 60grand.

find my thread where people advised not to buy sierra.

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/what-c...ce-needed.html

you can also look at some second hand gypsies.

PS: i have not yet bought a car for self, still driving the family car.

The esteem will definitely be in your budget, even for mods.

keep them coming guys

so here goes, appreciate all your replies guys and will surely apply them in my decision making . with regards to makin the hyd meets , ill try n make them if im in town, although employed in hyd , frickin flippin sweet mother of the holy cow company has sent me to the wilderness in arunachal pradesh!
i like the astra and escort suggestions coz i think those cars are quite capable of handling power upgrades engine wise , dont think strengthening of chassis and what not is needed , would go close to a cielo im aftraid , dad's company had one of them and i just feel its a tin can with a engine . just too brittle for my liking .

im actually looking forward to changing the bodyline of the car in the same veins as CHIP FOOSE'S 69 CAMARO . i think its quite simple and good bodyshop can work on its principle ( although im tryin to make a 4 door , from a 2 door design . ) with regards to budget,no budget for mods as long as i can see good reslts . im lookin at it long time anyways , so if it needs more money , then it'll just wait, never gonna reject something that needs to be done .

keep your views n comments comign along guys , bottom line is im a fresher. so any advice on my big thinkin will only do good . thankin you in advance .

do u think i can get hold of a run down w124 e-class?id sell my life insurance to work on this car ,hehehe , leave u guys to judge on my wishfull thinking

For 80 grand, you can get a Zen, and go the e-zen way, i think this is the best thing to do if performance is on your mind. If you want something which turns heads then go for a Jeep.

For 80 grand you can get a Uno, Esteem, 1000, Zen, 800, Jeep, Contessa, Ambassador, Padmini, Astra, Escort. Take your pick.

You wont get a W124 E Class in your budget, but you might just get a very old 70s Merc.
