What was the onroad price of Lancer In 2000?

Hi All

One of my friend is having serious issue with the Bangalore RTO when he bought an outstation (MH) 2000 model Lancer. The guy who sold the car and paid Karnataka tax of 13k and he had all the documents like NOC and all. We verified it as well hence we bought it assuming that we can easily get it re-registered.

Now when we took the Car to RTO they are telling that we need to pay extra tax of 35K , we are not sure why. They told us that or else get the invoice to calculate the tax and now i am not sure where i can get the price of a 2000 model Lancer. I thought our website would be the best option for it.

So i kindly request if anyone who owns a 2000 Lancer (any state) has his invoice or if he know the exact on road /ex showroom price of 2000

The Car is May 2000 model.

I paid Rs. 848,148 for my Lancer in the year 2000. Note, this is the on-road price without octroi (Nasik registration).

Why don't you contact the original dealer the car was bought from? He might be able to give you a copy of the original invoice.

10.7L is what I paid for my 2000 SFXi. IIRC it was 9.68L on road in 2000.

@iraghava - As i have told that its an MH registration we dont have any contacts there and moreover i guess it was Gm who was the first dealers, and i dnt think i can get anyone to know the price . but still i think i should try.Thanks for input
