Accent is thought to be phased out model, but because of its success & Hyundai wants to market Verna at a higher price (Unlike in other countries where Verna is replacement to Accent), Accent is still going strong in India.

Its a good car, worth to buy, but as mentioned, check the price at carwale.

The Accent Viva never sold well because people preferred the booted Accent to its hatchback style. It's a great car nevertheless, and its spares are the same as the Accent's, except a few body parts like bumpers etc. It came with the 1.6L "sports" engine that was also there in the Accent Tornado, and had ABS as an option. 2.25L seems to be an ok price to pay - it should come about 30k cheaper than the Accent.

Viva was never a hatchback. To be precise it was a notchback. Google out to know more

Oh... ok... yes... Hyundai called it a notchback design, and it's a 5-door hatchback with a notchback design. Just to show you I Googled...
From hatchback: Definition from Answers.com
hatch·back hăch'băk' n.
An automobile having a sloping back with a hinged rear door that opens upward.

The Accent Viva is a good car to buy. I bought an Accent recently, but if the Viva was around I would have choosen a red one. It is really a beautiful and sporty car.

It shares the same dimensions as the Accent.
You just need to get the car thoroughly checked though for any problems.

Mate,

I own a used accent viva 2003 (Passion red). Please post all the details of the accent to be able to suggest whether it is worth the price.

Thanks,
Pradeep
