Hi,

I was Gonna buy a new Accent CRDi soon. But i just checked Viva CRDi too. Both are good cars. Help me select out which one is better. Though when i asked the dealer about the price of Viva CRDi he sadi 6.90 with discounts etc. where as Accent CRDi is 7.49.
So is it true that Viva CRDi is cheaper than Accent CRDi?? Or have i heared the deler wrong. he must have said 7.90 for Viva CRDi.

So which car to go for??

mate, small boot = viva; bigger boot = accent crdi

small boot = less price
big boot = 50K plus

if u want bigger boot but at 50k extra, go for accent crdi. hope it clears you doubt

as jkdas told its the same more steel more money
its also about your preferences about looks only..... the mechanicals are all the same in both
the viva is a notchback which has more sporty character
as my preference i would go for viva :)

The Viva CRDi is the cheaper of the two.Save for very minor equipment options,they're basically the same.Not to forget that the CRDi's a saloon while the Viva is a hatchback.Some find the Viva to be sportier and is often brought by younger customers.Both cars being powered by the 1.5 CRDi pot,they're both fast.Choose your poison....

I wouldnt pay 50k more for just some litres of more boot space.

viva also looks good and young aginst the actual accent. Accent looks more of a family car while viva looks more for the singles and boyracer types.

i think that any car with a boot...wud be much easier to do external modifications..like a rear wing or sumthing... in this case the accent...but even if one does not want to do any thing to the car...i think a car with a boot surely looks more better and luxurious!

Hey thnx for the help. I never knew this about viva. I Thiught coz viva sells less than accent so it is cheap.

Can anyone gimme a comparison chart of boot space and also both accent and accent viva boot pics???

Viva is not a Hatchback ...
its a NOTCHBACK ..like the Octavia ..
the difference in boot space between the accent and the viva is pretty much negligible...

it really depends on your budget .. the Viva is cheaper but it also packs less goodies than the Accent at the same price ..like you said the accent fully loaded is around 7.35-40 and the Viva is under the 7 lac bracket
.. viva is fresher sportier looking than the accent ...the crdi at 6,90 is a great buy ..

As tUrboL rightly pointed, the Viva is a notchback. I am not a fan of the notchbaks 'cos parking them can be a real pain because the rear view is restricted due to the shape/size of the boot-lid. So, make sure you check that aspect when you test-drive. About the sporty image image, i think there is nothing more sporty abt the notchback over the sedan and as someone said, it'd be easeir to carry out the external modifications on the sedan. But is this all worth the extra 50K? Thats for you to decide after the test-drive.

Rear wing/spoiler can be fit on either models. I feel u can go for the Viva since there is very
NEGLIGIBLE difference in bootspace, but very HUGE difference in price.Moreover,the viva is definitely better looking than the normal accent.

If i had to make a decision between the Viva CRDi and the accent CRDi. I wouldn't think twice to buy the Viva.

I think thats just your own humble opinion. IMHO , I would say that not consedering the price difference , the Normal Accent is more better looking than the Viva.

Coming back ,If I were you , I would wait for the Ford Fiesta and then decide.

Ya i m waiting for ford fiesta. Its launch is on 15 Nov. and i have booked a test drive too.. at Bhagat Ford at chandigarh.
