Ok I read your comments. If I am not wrong, you need a Need A fuel Efficient Luxury sedan with good rear seat comfort.

Chevrolet optra 1.6 will give 10kmpl and is extremely comfortable at the rear.

your 7lacs budget has the maruti baleno and mitsubishi lancer spot on. In comparision theres not much to differentiate. Check out both the cars to see which you find better. Both have an excellent and comfortable rear seat.

If diesel is not a problem then have a look at the Elantra crdi and the octavia TDI. Both are very powerful, very comfortable and very FE.

your best options for a New car would be the

1. Ford Fiesta Diesel - 8.20 lk fully loaded on road.
2. Accent CRDi - around 8lk onroad
3. Accent VIVA Crdi - around 7.25LK onroad
4. ELANTRA Crdi - around 10-10.30 onroad.

even i am quiet concerned about the toppling of cars, and i wud nver buy a innova for myself unless fo comercial purpose

Elantra gives u the best bits of all, but u will ahve to see if u can stretch ur budget till there, if not, as u already have the Accents, then go for the Ford Fiesta Base version, as even in the Fully loaded version u dont get Leather and Alloys! :(

Honda city has an extremely good rear seat but ride is a bit rough as mentioned by many.

indigo is a really comfortable car but it is smaller than the cars considered above. I would still go for it though if status is not important.

hence

overall good car tata indigo(lacks refinement but as it is driver driven that wont be a problem.)
cars in your budget maruti baleno and mitsubishi lancer
cars at a stretch optra 1.6 (suits best to your needs)
diesels all the crdis
