Is the Ikon Flair a good buy ?

Hi BHPians,

One of my friends is planning to get a midsize car and has narrowed down to the Ikon Flair (on road Chennai < 5lacs). I tried to convince him to put down 80k more and get the Baleno Lxi (on road Chennai 5.8lacs). But since he feels it would be stretching his budget too much.
So looks like he will be going the Flair way.

His main priorities - a decent FE, low maintenance.

I am not a big fan of American cars (low FE being just one of the reasons) and do not recommend them to anyone. But I could be biased and thus would like you guys opinion on the Ikon Flair.

Given his key requirements, is it a good buy ?

Yes it'll take some time, I agree. But see the other side!! You'll get to know TBHP that much better
