The flower show is being held at the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Bangalore and below are some of the pictures. Please excuse some of the angles at which they are taken as I was trying to avoid the crowd as much as possible. Hope you all like it.

Hey Avi. Were you there this morning? I usually walk at Lalbagh every morning, and this flower show stuff is pretty decent. I'm just back from Lalbagh, and have zeroed upon a couple of Bonsais to purchase. (Pretty VFM, at Rs 400 a piece! )

Any other folks headed there today or tomorrow? I wouldn't mind bumping into a BHPian . I'll be going again in the afternoon today, or tomorrow, depending upon the congestion there.

I heard inside parking is not allowed during flower show. Is there any place nearby where i can park?

Thanks for reminding me of the glory of the Lalbagh Flower Show. Around 10 years ago, we used to attend this each year but don't remember now why we stopped. Interesting to note that the display hasn't diminished one bit though I have heard the crowds have multiplied.

You can park at the Shantinagar Bus stand MLCP, but that can also get full soon.

I normally do not miss both the flower shows in Lalbagh. This year the flower show was in memory of Krumbiegel, who was the architect of this garden!
We enjoyed the show, here are some pictures for you all to enjoy!

Necromancing an old thread as Lalbagh flower show is a recurring bi-annual event, and the theme this year during Independence day is Vidhana Soudha and Kengal Hanumanthaiah.
It's open till 15th Aug, and people interested in shopping, long walk, nursery, geology, history or just to while away time may pay a visit accordingly.
