Just saw a trailer for this new T.V series called SuperCars on NatGeo. Couldn't find any thread discussing it so started one here, hope this is the right forum.

No mention of it yet on NatGeo India official site too!

Show: SuperCars.
Host: Rajeev Khandelwal
Channel: NatGeo.
Air time: 10 P.M (don't remember exactly)
Air date: Starting from 10th October (again, don't remember exactly if it was a daily or weekend-only).

Just found one video of it on YouTube.
Couldn't they have found a better guy to host the show?! Looks like he is reading it up from a monitor!

Ill give that to you , would have loved to see someone like Vineet Bakshi of Living Cars (newsxlive) host a show like this , amazing anchor.

What I think is that the show is more on the lines of Mega Factories which feature various super cars from each factory. First episode is about Bentley and focuses only on manufacturing Mulsanne. Rajeev Khandelwal only seems to give a introduction as the rest of the show would be shot in Bentley's factory with a voice of a narrator which will certainly not be Rajeev Khandelwal's. Just my 2p.

I hope the format is just as you say it is, 'coz nobody can tolerate that host trying to speak english for more than a minute!

You were bang on right mate! This show is a renamed version of MegaFactories (and that too in Hindi I think)!

Totally forgot that today was the first telecast. Managed to catch only the last 5 minutes. And guess what they featured today?!
It was MASERATI GT/GranCabrio!!!
Feel really bad for having missed that!

So did anyone manage to catch the show?

Well today's show was about Maserati and Mercedes. The show will go on for the whole month, Mon to Fri 10 pm on Nat Geo. Even I missed the show as I had to attend to someone but no worries the show will be repeated on 11 Oct at 2 AM , 7 AM, 10 AM, 2 PM and 6 PM. So any one who missed it like me and shyn can catch it up tomorrow.
And tomorrow they will be showcasing Chevy Volt in the next episode, sorry if I killed the anticipation what the next car would be tomorrow by disclosing it.
Would keep the thread updated with which next car they will showcase the next day.

Todays Chevy Bolt turned out to be quite boring. They were showcasing pre production Bolt. How could they even classify Bolt as a Super Car.
Tomorrows show gonna be awesome because tomorrow comes the Bugatti, and if its Bugatti we know what to expect, 16.4.

This is the same show - Mega Factories showing in a new format. Runs all month airing at 10pm. Saw 2 episodes. BTW, @el lobo - Isnt it Chevy Volt and not Bolt?

are you serious when you mention Vineet Bakshi?

anyway this show is similar to Mega factories.

lately there have been influx of tv presenters doing automotive shows, that includes both men and women, who go by memorising the script and have nothing on their own to offer!

i would stick Car & Bike Show on NDTV!

Yep and god do they sound monotonous - thats one of the things i like about him , there is spontaneity and a decent sense of humor!

Where can I find the English versions of these episodes?! The Hindi is getting too technical!

Btw, isn't there any torrents site or something where we can get all the episodes aired till date from MegaFactories/SuperCars? Something like Finalgear.com?

Last night they had Bugatti Veyron on the show, it was really amazing to see how much effort goes into the making of it. Mind blowing is the word and hats off to the engineers behind it.
