People don't celebrate holi in Bangalore.. at least not as people celebrate in North India.
Will miss Holi's fun .

Btw greatdrive where in bangy do u live , because holi is certainly celebrated here with a lot of uplomb ..

this year holi celebrations in delhi might get dampened a bit due to rains. its raining pretty heavily since last 2-3 days. lets see what god has in store for us all!

OTR: This time I promised my friends that i will not play with wet colors..but seeing the rains I can say only one thing Thank you GOD!!! for breaking my promise

Well, Happy holi you guys, hope you have more fun than me. For me, I can't celebrate this colourful festival cause of my asthamatic problems... I seem to get an attack almost everytime I play :P. And quit it with the eggs, for all you know the bird flu is still lurking around, and if you get the bad egg in your mouth, I don't think the results will be grand!

Hey mclaren1885 - Are u sure...I stayed in Bangalore from 1999- 2001 in Fernhill...Absolutely no Holi Celebrations....

Infact used to go to MG Office in a bike....saw no one playing Holi then..Besides it used to be a working day !!

Maybe now things must have changed...

In fact, Hyd is Awesome when it comes to Festival Celebrations - Holi, Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi...et al...the spirit there is amazing..

IMO it is the last place in Southern India...where there is a Big Influence of North Indian culture...

Hey TBHPians... Have a very colorful holi and a real blast. Just be cautious about those synthetic colors though.

and Holi is celebrated in Bangalore but it is restricted to group of friends and family.. not like you have in north india.
