Exactly!lol: I too wondered that after seeing his comment. Now I guess he will come back with a new ID. But Maverick is taken too, actually we have 21 mavericks registered in Team-BHP.

Long before (most of) you guys were born, good old Doordarshan used to broadcast a German detective serial called Der Alte (dubbed in English as The Old Fox). Having grown old figuring out why things go wrong with people at work I decided to take on that pseudonym.

All the very best to you, buddy. Good to see the past and the present of DCE in a forum - I am '79 batch, Electronics (we were at Kashmiri Gate then). The only ones from those days that I see on the DCE website are Shail Bala Jain (she taught us too) and D. Roy Choudhury. DCEites have reached far and wide, so don't worry about your future - it is bright.

Hey, I remember this show, although I didn't remember the name. One fat detective with oversized glasses.

That'll make you the oldest member in Bangalore I suppose, Rudra will be relieved. Do post an intro in the intro section, I bet it would be interesting.

2) can be poor aws ...

zcanji - Like most ppl here, I was looking for an id on yahoo. Got fed up searching & ended up with a slightly moded nickname (Kanji) and a silent 'z'!
Been around for close to 9 years (though the yahoo id was hacked into & lost few years back), and it has been surprisingly well received :)

Mine is simple - Deepak from Bangalore...

I love the shear wild and raw power of a GrizzLy bear n thats y I call my car "GrizzLy"!!!

I Am Having A Wall Paper Of A Car Named Drietech So I Have Put It As My Id You Can See That Wallpaper On My Avataar

My childhood name. Means 'General' (like in military).

Siva

man i am obsessed with bikes especially the racetypes and not the chopper type... and my longest ride on mybike was 670kms to chennai on my pulsar 180 that i owned... so the name RIDER

and my name starts with 'Y' so from childhood my rollnumber has always the last and in my b.tech too my rollno. is the last that is 60.

And so the name is finally RIDER+60 = rider60

my bro has an infiniti fx35 in usa. whn he was lookin for buyin one.. we had test driven 35 and 45. i liked the latter.. but unfortunately he bought the former.. hence i kept the name fx45.
