Was a StarWars fan from childhood....The name was a no-brainer :)
Well My name is sumit, when I tried to creat a profile all sumit variants have been taken up, so I added the name of the locality I live in, kalindi. And all over the net this is my standard name.

But if Manson comes from Manmeet Soni and the N is silent,
then is the N silent in Manmeet, thereby making it mummeet?

Nope. You got it wrong Sam. For Manmeet, the "M" "A" "N" "M" are silent, & the "T" is pronounced as "K". At least that's what wifey said when she saw his leftover long deceased prawns in her car...
