My usernae D1ISTHE1 is derrived from my sur name i.e Dewan
Dewan = D1
is
The one = the 1 = Dewan
therefore
it is "Dewan is The one" = D1ISTHE1

USed to play Quake III during college. We used to name the server =The Elite Kommandes Are Here=

1. SO that became my email signature.
2. My yahoo id is also on similar lines
3. When i joined my first company i refused to create a standard format id for official chat and insisted on 'theelitekommando'
4. Finally my trainer addressed me as 'Elito' in one message...since then i use it at various places.

OT: i once bought yellow shoes which had dark blue stripes all over. Was nicked 'Tiger' and in places like orkut and at old workplace ppl still address me as 'Tiger'

My fellow MBA grads were inspired by the 'Flying Sikh' (Milkha Singh)/Flying Finn' (Paavo Nurmi) and cooked up this nickname for me because I used to be a long distance runner as well (college)...it kinda stuck, also made it my Yahoo email id.
