After many bike trips with my Unicorn for 10 years, I had to sell it off as it was lying idle in my parking. My usage had become almost nil after my son was born and I hardly got time to go on trips alone. I had recently bought a car, an automatic one and also had bought a Jupiter for going nearby. So was not taking it out much.
When I created my handle here, I realized it is an irony that I joined this forum when I was very passive with driving. I was missing changing gears and hence the name.

My username is a play on Pandeyji, of Chulbul Pandey fame. I hate that movie, so much so that I started to see the funny side of this irrational hate.rl:

From my childhood loved our history, epics and legends, I wanted to have my username inspired by them. Since i have been fan of Hanuman ji, hence used JaiHanuman as my username.

A day prior to creating my account I had watched a re-run of Eraser movie in one of the TV channels. Guess it kind of stuck with me and my general lack of creativity in coming up with names .. :)

Don't have to worry .. my erasing capabilities are restricted to just the profile name ...:)

Yeah, same request, can a change of username be allowed one time? When I created my profile, the username was created without much thought and just went with my name.

Have to admit having your actual name as the username is like walking in to a masquerade party without a mask rl:

Well, while my favourite pastime activity is turning to T-BHP threads and this is what I have been doing for last few days while being confined to home, under quarantine at Pune as my wife and daughter turned out to be symptomatic and covid positive. They too are kept in isolation at home only and are doing fine. Now coming back to the topic, I have noticed, many interesting nicknames/TBHP identity names which pique my interest in them. While many of them are just generic short versions like mine fawad0222, which is my name with date of birth, there are a whole lot of them which do not seem to follow any such logic. For example, our beloved grand old man( pun intended, in terms of this forum only) GTO. Well Sir, why did you choose this one. So may I take the liberty to request my fellow bhpians to let us know the secret behind their TBHP names, of course only if they don't mind. Thanks in advance and yes do stay safe and take full precautions.:)

Oh I m sorry as there was already a thread on the same topic. Thanks mods for directing my post to the right place. The thread is a treasure trove of some great, funny, interesting stories lurking behind the forum names.
