Worlwide quality of living : Best & Worst cities

Mercer Human Resource Consulting did a survey of quality of life in different cities of the world which I am sure many of you will be aware of. Sure the survey was to judge which are the best and worst cities for expatriates but the results are pretty much according to norm. Zurich, Geneva and Vancouver topped the list like they have for the last 3 years, 10 out of the top 15 cities were from Western Europe. Delhi and Mumbai ranked in at 150.

Basis of judging the cities were:

Quote:
Political and social environment (political stability, crime, law enforcement, etc.)

Economic environment (currency exchange regulations, banking services, etc.)

Socio-cultural environment (censorship, limitations on personal freedom, etc.)

Medical and health considerations (medical supplies and services, infectious diseases, sewage, waste disposal, air pollution, etc.)

Schools and education (standard and availability of schools, etc.)

Public services and transportation (electricity, water, public transport, traffic congestion, etc.)

Recreation (restaurants, theatres, cinemas, sports and leisure, etc.)

Consumer goods (availability of food/daily consumption items, cars, etc.)

Housing (housing, household appliances, furniture, maintenance services, etc.)

Natural environment (climate, record of natural disasters)
What do you guys think? Mumbai and Delhi deserve to be at 150 based on the above factors?

The mercer hr link will take you to the top 50 ranked cities in the survey. Question is Which city from among the top 50 would you live in, if given a choice.
