This proves that its a pathetic ad. They were not even able to get the product across to the common man !!

That girl is Nicolete Bird. She also stars in Rock On! Yes she is pretty.:thumbs up

Yes the girl you mentioned also comes in that Thumbs-Up spoof ad for Sprite in which they mock up Akshay Kumar on the hospital bed.

I too like the expression of determination that he gives at the end. As if he is out to change the world single handedly. Good work.

kuch kar dikhao....kuch ban dikhao.... for a ball point pen. This is about a kid who studies hard, uses this pen and goes on to become a pilot.

THis ad has had an impact on my 4 year old son. He now relates/understands studying to becoming a pilot/or an engineer and realizing your dreams.

My son is interested in these things (aircrafts/trains) and can spend hours playing with these tiny toys.

We are so impressed with this ad as to the message it has managed to deliver to a kid.

Looks like Maruti is out to promote dangerous and rash driving. First the SX4 advt and now the new Swift advt. They even gave you a tip on how to fool the cops if you get pulled over for dangerous driving. :)

Yes. I saw that ad and was not happy at the way Maruti is promoting dangerous driving and cheating. Not a great ad I should say.

Yeah Thats Birla Cement for You. I remember the very old ad and I liked it

Pappu:- Birla cement
Guddu:- Kyun? (WHY)
Pappu:- Kyunki Is Cement Mein Jaan Hain ...lol: (This Cement has life in It, actually it means it is strong )

Maruti is always after giving negative messages in most ads. Take the old wagon R ad, taking a celebrity to the sea-side with a cameraman in the boot, ok not so bad message. Take the zen estillo ad, eloping with a girl with all the home stuff, girl's own dad doesnt realize that his daughter is sitting on the passenger seat at the check-post ! New Swift ad, driving like a maniac, breaking all the rules, easily get rid of the police man with a dirty trick ! It looks good on screen, but practically its breaking all the rules !! The only maruti ad I can recollect as good is the Omni ad with the girl kid playing tabala, becomes a star etc.

I would like to add the "India Comes home in a Maruti" advertisement, that was a lovely concept.
And also the Alto Let's Go ads..

Im trying to remember which advt for an alcohol company features shiney ahuja playing a flute to lure a shark? Pretty stupid imho.

Any of you seen the latest Maruti's "petrol khatam hi nahi honda" advt? This time it's the grandmother doing the advt but is the young guy in the advt the grown up kid from many years ago? The toy car has changed from the M800 to the Swift too.

how about the new bingo hatke jhatke ad where the two guys do mock fighting with their jhutkas hilarious and light:thumbs up
