I know this one.

He meant his bike. No reverse gear.

I wish there was a cliff ahead instead of the tunnel and he kept going forward saying "Reverse is not an option". But knowing Hero Honda ads, he would just jump on to the next mountain and continue riding .

Hero Honda seems to come up with the most stupid taglines for their ads. There was another ad that had the tag line " Thinking is such a waste of time" .

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

i found new bajaj pulsar ad "hunto" or some Japanese word AD kind of offensive. yeah agree that bajaj has made some excellent product over the years (okay by learning from kawasaki) and they will continue to offer good product for sure. But i feel taking some country name and telling our product is better compared to them is not in good taste IMHO

PS: as i typed this recalled "Suzuki Samurai" NO PROBLEM ad. that was a nice ad

So people what do you learn from the above ad ???

It's perfectly normal and ok to disturb people performing in a play or a theater.

Just hate, hate, hate Micromax mobile ads. Even the Nirma ad with the puddle of muddy water pales in comparison to them!!

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

I quite like the MTS-unlimited-internet-for-a-day ad (the one where the guy and girl lay in bed and things keep changing. I just like the way how the story is told in such an innovative and visually appealing manner.

I hate Wild Stone deo ads and all deo ads in general. Wild Stone is simply aping AXE. Just because AXE's identity was in its peculiar advertisements (of getting all the women) done very tastefully, does not mean you made a good ad because, well, you sprayed scented aerosol on yourself and all self-respecting women turned adulterous just at the mere smell of it. C'mon give me a break!

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

I think the worst advt ever is the Alpenlibe advt where Kajol is playing a monkey and monkeys are playing humans. We should ban the person who was creator of this advt. Such a shame to the Indian advt industry. Pathetic to say the least.

Best advts ever are obviously the Zoo Zoo advts. Nothing can beat the Zoo Zoo campaign.

Besides, Zoo Zoos, the recently aired Center Fresh advt is hilarious.

The Livon hairgain ad has got to be the most ludicrous one in recent times.

Like the iphone4 ad until he says, "If you don't have an iphone. Well, you don't have an iphone."

As though if you don't have it, you are missing something great. There are other smart phones which perform on par.

PS: I am not an apple fan or basher. I am neutral.

I'm not an Apple fan but think that ad was really well done. It shows the features quite well and makes you want the phone.
That said, I think the ad is a bit dishonest as I don't think the video on an Iphone would be as shown in the ad ( I think there will be the black strips on the top and bottom of the phone while watching video due to the weird aspect ratio of the Iphone screen ).

It should have been:
"If you don't have an iphone. Well, you don't have an phone."

That would have made the statement powerful.

Hahahahaha! I laughed louder than Jimmy Shergill did in the ad. It's unintentionally funny.
