Hi guys, I have been doing a little research cuz I want to go in for another car and this time I really really want to have an upper hand. This is what I got from another G35 forum.

Confessions of a car salesman

This will probably take you more than an hour, it took me that long since i am a slow reader, but I think its good for knowledge and know-how about brutal sales field..

you might not be in the US market, but this surely is something you ought to know..

Cheers

Awesome article, C4S. Its so bloody insightful on how American dealerships work. I think that our Indian dealerships arent that shrewd or aggressive enough - Thats a good thing for us customers!

Thanks for sharing, took me a load more than an hour to get through all of the article...but well worth it.

Man i wanted to sleep after this loooong article...... seems that its time to head home and energise yourself for next days work. Having said that, its very informative and felt like passing some tricks to car dealers out here. All in all an exhaustive , enjoyable and learned article !

Good work !

I just saw youtube video on edmunds.com and started reading. This is a vivid account.

I was reading the article and was able to draw parallels as to how Indian used car dealerships are similar to US. Thought of posting it and searched.

Here it was already since 2004 It is good for the newbies and to refresh memory for the old timers. People getting new cars or giving away their faithful oldies. A must read.
