Nokia launches Android phones !

The first three phones in the family – the Nokia X, X+ and XL – are priced between the existing Asha and Lumia lines, at €89, €99 and €109 respectively, to appeal to new smartphone users looking for popular apps and their first cloud services.

It runs Nokia X OS Platform - built upon (AOSP) Android Open Source Project. Since the "X Family" runs a forked Android, there will be no Google Play Services installed. Instead, there will be a dedicated Nokia store.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has shut down Nokia handset unit, wrote off $7.5 billion and has now posted the largest ever net loss for a quarter (loss of $3.2 billion).

Server management software - a billion dollars.

Microsoft makes really big money on Enterprise Software.

All the billion dollars are either directly or indirectly related to Windows client OS, which the secretaries run. As long as secretaries require applications on Windows, MSFT makes money. But the rest of the world has moved on.
