mIRC .. help required

I need to download the XBMC via IRC. Its not available thorugh http/ftp/torrents.
This is the first time i am using mIRC. I havent changed any settings, but whatever server i want to connect to, i get this message:
Unable to connect to server (No Route to Host)

Please help!

dceite : Check ur firewall and make sure mIRC is getting through it. next go to mIRC options and check "LOCAL INFO" in this dialog put it ur IP / HOST and set the "Look up method" to "Normal".

Now setup ur Nick, username , email and also the Ident field (some server use ident based authentication).

if know your server then type /server <servername>:<port> press enter it should connect now. If you need to download stuff and u have a firewall blocking ports then either u switch off ur firewall for a while or forward some ports.

mIRC would reject .EXE files so check the DCC Ignore settings.

You can connect to DALnet Or Undernet.

Give some Nickname & Press connect, If you are not able to do then
type all these servers.

/server mesra.dal.net
/server jade.dal.net
/server speedtech.dal.net

Let me know if u need any help.
