Which to sell : Palio Gtx or NHC

Hi,

I will soon be relocating outside india, wish to know your thoughts on which ONE of the following two cars i can sell.

1. NHC GXI : June 2004. First owner: Done about 11K KM. Immaculate condition. Still have a loan to payoff.

2. Palio GTX : Dec 2002 : Second owner but just done 17K KM. It was a company owned car which my brother bought it Jan 2006.

We plan to keep one of the two cars, both have their +ve's and -ve's.
Should i sell the GTX and payoff the NHC Loan or just sell the NHC and close liability (loan).

I am not sure how much i would get for my NHC - any guesses??

-Neel

If you have a family; NHC I guess. Bachelor: GTX
Also, NHC will give you a better resale value in future too and anyway its a new car.

Suggest u to sell the the city as it will have a better resale value now .. Selling the GTX wont fetch u anything .. A friend of mine sold his 2002 sienna 1.2 for a mere 83k and with the money he couldnt even do up his baleno properly as he wished to in the 1st place .. The GTX will not fetch u anything more than 1.3-1.5L in this part of the world , coupled to it the rumours about the horrendous FIAT service didnt help either .. Now that tata has taken over the service i guess its a wise decision to keep the GTX it being a true enthusiasts car .. Its that car which will always bring a smile on ones face , quite unlike the NHC..

I completely agree with mclaren you would get a very good resale for the NHC and you could close the liability. If you sell the GTX it simply won't be worth it.

Ditch the NHC,bro.
Since u'll use the car rarely and FE won't be a concern. Sell the NHC off.
U'll save a lot of money.

, YOur palio has run just 17K and for that you are loosing more than 300000lacs, so keep it .......ditch the NHC coz when it comes to actual driving pleasure I guess...NHC is way way out of Palio1.6 GTX's league. Now if you are trying to be practical again its 50:50 choice.

Palio is an extremely good car and you wouldnt really get its worth if you sell it. Additionally you are a second owner.

sell the NHC and get a good resale out of it.

if u r thinking of selling the GTX to foreclose your NHC loan - forget it, you wont get peanuts for what its worth

you should get around 5-6L for the NHC, compared to just 1-1.5L for the GTX

Whos gonna remain in India from yr family ? anD, who willl be driving the car ?
If its yr mom /dad driving it ? Keep the City. After ALL, ALL That U would except ( for them) is peaceful ownership experiece. Also the city would be more comfortable to drive for your parents. Again by selling off yr city , You would lose close to 3 laks than yr paid MRP. DEPRECIATION

Selling of Palio would fetch you peanuts , but I am sure U too must have bought it for peanuts.
