What price can I expect for this car?

Even if it is in immaculate condition I doubt it will fetch anything more than 80,000-90,000. In any case the price will be below 1 lakh.

Give some more details about the car. Normally a 2nd owner privately owned esteem with all papers clear & if the car is in reasonably good condition you can get a maximum of 70,000.
So quote 75,000. Anything near 70 is good.
But then depends on the condition

actually, 2 years back I spent...
20k repainting + new seat covers
10k 4 new tyres
10k road tax for karnataka.
condition is decent.

though i am the second owner, i got it new (25 kms on the odo) for 4.8L vs the then market rate of 5.3L

my friend is ready to buy it, at the 'market rate', because he knows the car history. but finding this market rate is tricky...
