Wiki is a great source of information about all types of aircraft.
He-162 was a low cost jet fighter (not rocket propelled) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinkel_He_162
Ar-234 was the worlds first jet powered bomber: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arado_Ar_234
Both saw active service in WWII and a few can he found in museums today.
