RTO tax

Can anyone list which state in India has the lowest % road tax when registering a car.
Also is the RTO tax more on imported cars? As i got a qoute for the Skoda Superb with 7%(1.5 lakhs) RTO while the qoute recieved for Toyota Camry was almost 14% (3.13 lakhs) these r thane rates.

I think Daman nd Diu have the lowest rates. Im not sure

Bangalore is 12%, I think. I paid 86.5k for my Honda City.

It hurts!!! especially seeing the condition of the roads it is supposed to help build; and the quality of the traffic and the idiots one encounters while driving (whether two legged variety, two tyred or 3, 4, 6 or 8 tyred).
