Its the head for me.100%.
I believe its better to think and move ahead rather than sit and regret later.

i use my head cause the heart wants everything, i'm a greedy guy .
my heart would say buy a veyron but the mind evaluates the pro's and con's and the economic and monetory feasability, and i come back to reality.

I say go with the heart and let the head think of a way of getting what the heart wants

For me it is always the head. Mind has its ways of convincing the heart.

Think of Skoda, for example. Great cars. Heart just loves them. Will I allow my heart to sway the decision? No. Instead my mind will direct heart towards Skoda's after sales. Deal clinched.

I really don't know which option to vote for. First the head chooses a car. Then it goes into hibernation and put up the issue to the heart for a second opinion - this can come through in a few days, weeks, or even months. IF the heart agrees with the head, the matter is referred back to the head to find such mundane solutions as how & when to book the car, organizing finance etc.

Oh, and between the head and heart, there is a second heart that has over-riding and ultimate veto power - the sweetheart (aka the wife)! Both head and heart agreed some years ago that I need an Ambassador. The veto won.

Not that I've ever bought a car, but I think it's gonna be shortlisting by heart and finalizing by head. It's always this way for me. I can't imagine buying a car that doesn't make me say 'Nice car, dude' when I see it on the road.
