Hey, Havnt seen you arond for ages now .... As for the Mods part , I have GTX with a K&N air filter and a free flow exhaust with headers from Automech . Im waiting to start Modding my Swift ... its totally Stock right now . Keep us informed about the Mods that you do on ur swift specially the sports muffler part !!!

Cheers

I own a Swift VXi with alloys and wider tyres. I have not heard about simota air filters before. I am planning to go for K&N filter. How does simota air filter compare with K&N?

man simota are good ive used them compared to k&n I think it rates well

And which sports muffler you installing .. and whats the sound that you gonna get ???

Are there dealers in Chennai for simota?

And ... what other air filters are in the market and which is the best in terms of performance and budget?

simota airfilters are good but i donth think they would fare well in indian conditions.instead of a cotton mesh like in the case of a k&n ,the simota has a stainleass steel mesh.no cotton,no filtering media...the filtering is done via a very fine ss mesh...so u figure how helpful will taht be.

Also i have a Hyundai Accent and Wagon R i would be starting Modding it very soon...

This should be an intresting thread.....Btw alloys, etc dont account for modded cars.
As for me....I dont qualify....still living in the boring world of STOCK! :)

My OHC VTEC has a free flow setup with straight-through pipe and a chip to boost the power. Alongwith that it also has wider tyres than standard.

I have just added K&N filter for my swift. Yet to feel the change.

K&N , freeflow, plugs, headers on my esteem.
