Will sure do later, the model is 1:18 Signature Series and is available easily in local scale model stores. the cost is around 1500 bucks. But at the same price you also get a tow truck version in Red and black so mersmerizing.

If you are in london then why don't you try Hamleys or Harrods. I got my pink caddy from Harrods.

There are some wonderful discounts on so many good models on M O D E L I S S I M O , even some good autoarts!

I am thinking of importing some 1:18 models from

If anyone is interested, we can jointly import a consignment.

Delivery cost to India per consignment is 35 Euros (around 2400 INR). This is applicable to a consignment weighing max 20kgs (about 10 models of scale 1:18 ) or total billing of max 1000 Euros.

Importing together we would be able to share the delivery cost of 2400 and get access to an astonishing choice of scale models.

Interested bhpians please DO reply soon.

@zibby -I will be back to London in December,up to that time I am in Kolkata.Yes,you are right,I was looking for that Cadi. Its better to wait for few months to get it from Harrods.
@gautomobile -It may be very difficult for you to find a mate or two to share with, because say,if I share with you,the parcel will reach to either to you or me(presently at Kolkata). So,either you or me have to repack and repost it either to Mumbai or Kolkata. It is better idea for you to find a friend in US or Germany, you will buy and tell them to send at his/her address, then your friend will send you as gift to mumbai.

This Sunday I received a purchased instrument from USA,officially the packet has been opened to check it twice (evident from their stamps and signatures),as it was a simple plier like stainless steel intrument, the thing I received is completely OK(The green sticker form was filled properly by the seller).
I dont know what will happen to a purchased delicate scale model. But,I can say you one fact,Gifts are generally not opened to check (I dont know the reason).I think, other members can share their experience.

scale model of Namma Metro

Mods, I couldn't find any other place for this. Please create separate thread if required.

Yesterday night arround at 10:00 pm I saw Model of our Metro train outside of BEML main gate (near HAL). It was focused with lights & was kept as if it was waiting to be loaded into the trucks. I am not sure as to where it's going to be kept.

Couldn't took photo as I didn't had my mobile too.

Please share if any of our member had seen it.
