No, it's an iconic sports car from a tractor manufacurer.

@ Shankar: please put up the Lambo by welly pics.

Well here is my contribution to this thread. I purchased this scale model few years back but I don't know its make. Can anyone identify this car model ?
Apart from this I have nearly 70+ die cast car models ranging from old fiat and beetle models to VW,Chevrolet,BMW,Mercedes,Tata, Ford etc.
Will post the pictures of them as soon as I get hold of a new Digital camera.

hey! another lambo most definitely eh, considering the "sports car from a tractor maker" part?

my lambo pics (Miura from Welly) are already up and running on 24th Dec a few pages back on the thread!

You got it right, it's a Lamborghini muira 1968 (with the famous eye lashes) 1:18 Scale Orange Color by BBurago Daimond Collection Rs. 1395 from Mumbai (yet to arrive).

Welly one is an 1971 SV which is without the eye lashes, so have gone for BBurago.

Was out yesterday at Lifestyle /Spar at Oasis . Lifestyle has got some New-Ray 1:32 pull back models, FireBird, GTO, Jeep and a few more (Rs245)
At SPAR they have the Corgi 007 model (rs 499), i am not sure of the scale.

Hi samsag, that appears to be a Mercedes of some vintage.
Welcome to team BHP, this is a superb forum, and a crazy scale model thread.

WOW looks quite rear, the first one with the beetle convertible is very good.

Thanks!

It's a rebuild of a 1:12 Tamiya kit that I first built over 20 years ago. I found it all broken up in a box in my parents home. So, over the Christmas break, I decided to see if I could salvage it. Lot of time was spent in rebuilding broken parts or scratch-building missing parts.

You can see the box-art in the last pic. I'm trying to get the decals so that I can finish it up.

The first few pics are of the primered body, frame, and cowling. I did not remove the old (bad) paint completely though I sanded it down quite a bit -- I should have. And, I did not have Tamiya Clear top coat -- so just rubbed down with rubbing compound and used 3M imperial hand glaze

Guys I got my hands on two amazing classic Mercedes models - 200 D Taxi (Black), and 280 E Saloon (Ikonengold metallic).
Both are 1:43 Minchamps, collectibles. (1 out of 1392 and 1 out of 1296 pieces)
The detailing is incredible, one must see them to believe it !! Pictures don't do justice to these two beauties... Even the grille emblem (Star) is detailed, which must be 1 mm in diameter !!
