CMC does make the same mercedes in KIT form. It is supposed to be very rare and unbelievably hard from what pics I have seen.

@RPM.. your mighty "Ulhenhaut" is fabulous ! Superb detailing, beautiful model :).
@Sid: hey where did you get the Punto scale model from ? Nice !!

Started the E55 AMG project today. The test fit of the bumper cutting and then AMG exhausts. Painting and detailing left over. And The wheels should be here soon.. Getting Brabus V types.

Just added the three fiats to my collection.

Are those Fiats made by Welly in 1:36 scale? If so, I just bought the same 500 in Chennai and have also placed orders for the Punto and old 500.

My friend bought a 1:24 Bburago SV. I loved it in this this Verde Ithaca color!

I like the Carbonfibre detailing in this. Although the wheels are immensely rubbish. Cant wait for the Autoart version!!!

Yes very much at possibly most shops that sell scale models. eg. Hamleys, Landmark, Gift Center etc.

@Cyrus...yes the wheels are quite high profile than what they should be and it ain't even black(which a SV should normally have)
Otherwise good detailing for a 1:24. Especially like that small fire extinguisher inside :)

Finally got the chance and time to take some detailed pictures of the Ulhenhaut... I particularly love the engine detailing and the functional windows... all in all the model is exquisite. It is built up of over 1800 individual parts. Thanks to my twin, I now own a very treasured diecast - Mercedes Benz 300 SL Ulhenhaut, winner of the 'Diecast Zone *Car of the Year* 2011" in the 1:18 Replica Models of the Year 'Street' section. :D

WOW! I've been wanting a CMC for some time now but haven't been able to pull the trigger on them yet. The detailing is SUPERB!

If you want a CMC, the Ferraris are the way to go!! Especially the Grand Prix versions.

I would say for ferraris go for GMP Diecast, they are simply awesome. Also Exoto's is one more brand with awesome detail.

By the way, just tried out flame painting job on my beetle, since we do not get fine line masking tape in India (like 1 mm -3mm), I had to cut out the design after sticking the masking tape. I will pinstripe the outline to cover the minor defects. Next time will probably cut out the stencil with plotter.

Umm I'm not really a fan of any of the race cars tbh. (maybe because I don't know anything about them). The only CMC Ferrari that I really want is the 250 GT. The Mercedess & Bugattis on the other hand on the other hand :D

Hear is a picture of a Lotus Exige I picked up recently.

The only Punto you get here is the 1:43 "Toy" Punto by Norev.
If you want a bigger one, try getting the 1:18 3 door by Mondo Motors from abroad.

No. I recently picked up a Fiat 500 made by Welly. The scale was not mentioned but I guess it should be 1:36 or 1:32. In that box, it was written that the Fiat collection from Welly includes Punto, Nuova 500 (the original old 500) and another Fiat, all in the same scale. I will try posting a picture of the box tonight.
