Nice! An innovative way to display. Although i don't have a display shelf system like yours, i got an idea of using a big Tata truck steering wheel, in place of the bicycle tyre
P.S. I also share a similar taste as yours - i too have most of the cars you like and have displayed - be it Majorette, Hot Wheels or Matchbox.

Wow, so envious of your collection. Senna's MP4 is just amazing. Where did you get these F1 cars? Can we still buy them today?
This thread is amazing. I have quite a few (hundred) die-casts from various brands. I will start with posting some of them in this post. I will keep adding to this thread over time for sure. Here are some of my recent acquisitions:
1. Hotwheels Team transport - JDM Legends
2. Hotwheels Team transport - Porsche Outlaw
3. Ford Escort rally edition
4. Ford F150 Raptor

Thanks, but I am sure once you go through the previous threads you will know other regular members have a collection which is at a different level :). I started by looking at collecting only models with V12 engines and now am collecting mostly unique or iconic models of their time.
On the sourcing of the models I am quoting my previous post where I had mentioned where I normally buy the scale models from. The F1 models were purchased from Kunal at Car Collective Online and I am sure you can still buy them now as they are made in various sizes by different brands are not the limited edition run models.

Beautiful and thank you for posting them here :)
The Huayra BC, Zonda R and Commendatore 112i were high on my list to add in my V12 collection. Unfortunately, getting a Zonda R from AUTOart is not possible anymore and could only get the other two. That Zonda R is really a piece of art especially with the engine detailling clap:
As I had mentioned on Instagram I was initially inclined on picking up the same spec as you have but then decided to go for the GRIGO MERCURIO/CARBON

Its nice to see a vast collection of Die cast models in this thread.clap:
I would like to share the Car models that I have collected all these years.Whenever I used to goto onsite because of my project commitments I used to collect the Die cast car models.
All these models were bought either at the Autoshows or at the Car museums. After I shifted to my own house I wanted to have a dedicated area to display all these car models.I found a perfect spot in our dining area and used that space to display my precious collection.
Im gonna let the pictures do the talking now and hope you guys like it. Apologies if the picture clarity is not good.
The total collection as of now. There are blank spaces and I would like to fill them with new car models soon

Further, below is a Husqvarna Nuda 900R in 1:12 scale. Again a very well detailed model. |
A friend has this bike in the exact same spec in Delhi and man what an absolute hoot it is to ride. The torque on this is so so addictive. Where did you get this from? Would love to get one for me and maybe get models of all the bikes i have ridden so far

Guess, I was lucky in that case as I had both options available as this was a pre order and took a few months to arrive. Only reason why I didn't go for the blue is that it had too much off blue and in this spec the red interiors really stand out.

Is that friend Atul Modi?
Have never ridden one, but had seen one in Mumbai many years back. Friends who have ridden it told the same story about the insane torque from the parallel twin motor.
Picked up the scale model from Scale Model Cart and unfortunately this was the last piece available.

Oh that baby is my absolute pride and joy! It was such a time consuming search to get it in White because I just not want the black one.

Yes it is. He is dear friend and we ride together with the same group of friends.
I couldnt wait to post my latest on this thread :Cheering:. Acquired couple of M2 diecasts. The level of detail on them is spectacular. Next i want to buy some greenlight diecasts. With covid travel restrictions its becoming tougher and tougher to acquire new ones. In order:
1. Ford Torino Cobra
2. Ford f-100 1956
Aventador No. 6 (1:18) in the collection in this absolutely stunning spec made by Kyosho. Limited to 500, this is no. 229.
Happy Collecting!
Rohan
