what/who is this "yahoo slurp spider"

Was just checking whos online and on pages 12,13,14 there was this "yahoo slurp spider" browsing many of the threads.Now this person is not a guest and certainly not a member(coz i cant click on his name).Is this some kind of bot or something?

Yup Binz, it is a search bot. Yahoo, MSN, Google etc. are regular visitors to our board.
