Your collection is to die for. Thank you for posting these lovely detailed pictures. All, have you ever bought model kits from Hasegawa or Tamiya. Do you know how difficult is the construction and whether the models are snap-fit or the glue kind. I can assemble and paint. But when the assembly is with glue in the Airfix manner then it becomes a pain in the neck. Any inputs will be thankfully accepted. |

Although I don't recall buying these brands, more than 15 years ago I used to assemble kits from Revell and Monogram. The above brands I think make similar kits going by the description and number of pieces. Usually kits consist of 100s of pieces attached to a plastic frame that you have to cut out, glue together , sand, prime and then paint. Then stick the decals which are very delicate and often break. It takes days of efforts and great skill to make a good model. If you are used to snap to together kits from Herpa or Hogan etc. this would be at least 100 times more difficult and and time consuming. |

Thank you for sharing. The JC Wings model - is it plastic or diecast. I assume the former. At 1:200 it must be quite big. |

It is diecast and quite heavy. Lengthwise, the 787 is about the size of an A4 size paper. |
