Dark grey & Maroon would be my choice of colour. The hoodie with drawstring would be preferred.

Royal blue and Red with drawstrings. I really like the use of hoodies while travelling in AC trains and during air travel.

Bonus points if the red is Ferrari red. I have managed to source wool of that colour (from USA) and convinced mom and granny to weave me a sweater. The colour looks very good and might I add rich in a sea of bland greys (no offence guys, but most hoodies/jackets/ sweaters out there are black, white, or some shade of grey).

Also another suggestion, please have an option to choose sleeve length. For folks like me (tall, skinny with long arms) - I have to choose the next bigger size than the actual to ensure that sleeves are of proper length.

So I'm still miffed at not being able to get the v.2 hoodies because you guys ran out of sizes, but am looking forward to getting my swag on this time!

Expanding the colour palette is a great idea given that monochromatic colours (black, white, and every shade of grey in between) are so over and done with... it's almost as if every sweatshirt out there is in these "safe" colours.

My recommendation (and vote!) is for the dark navy blue and maroon as these shades are relatively easy to maintain. They also manage to walk the fine line between being fairly neutral (so that they can be worn with most things in your wardrobe) while still standing out in a sea of monochrome (so you don't become one of the faceless many). Most importantly, perhaps, is that both these shades are flattering for most skin tones - an important consideration for one of the most ethnically diverse nations on planet Earth.

My choice of collar (no hood) is driven by similar considerations - it's the most flattering cut, especially for heavy-jowled "not-so-young" men of a certain age who may now tend to show signs of their prosperity!

Cheers!

P.S. - I hope you retain the "Team-BHP live to drive" logo with the personalisation option just like before.

Re: Team-BHP Hoodies v3 - Which Colours?

Voted for-
Black (By default hoodies always look great in black add a red and white Team Bhp logo)

Royal Blue (A splash of rich blue will look vibrant and lively with the red/white Team Bhp logo on it).

Re: Team-BHP Official Gear : *NEW* Zippered Hoodies! (v2.0)

I voted for dark grey and dark navy blue. With collar(no hood) style. And found out that majority of us voted for that so far. Let's see.

Honestly, I've spent the last month working on our sizing chart big-time. Also, last time we didn't have much control over the actual production, this time we do. So things will be a lot less of a surprise.

Using another size as a benchmark is a good idea, but while our Medium might be like another brand's Medium, chances are the sizes wont match up across the range! I've made a lot of tweaks to suit the typical Indian body type & choice of fit.

What you might be able to use as a reference for hoodies is a Team-BHP tshirt

Unfortunately this wont be possible due to logistical reasons. However, I'll try to mention the sleeve lengths for each size.

Yes. Still have to work out the specifics of this, as the hoodies might be branded (printed or perhaps embroidered) with a different method this time.

Aiming for November, though better to be safe and say "before/by December"!

Earlier the better. With the way the climate is these years, December means that the winter when hoodies can be used is almost over.

Dark Grey and dark navy with collar! Goes with everything and lighter colours demand more maintenance. And please use a known/common brand as a size reference. Probably UCB type?

Any of the navy blue or grey colour palettes would do. Thanks for doing this poll and putting up so much effort for this merchandising.

Re: Team-BHP Hoodies v3 - Which Colours?

Yo, y'all gotta give some fluorescent colour hoodies. Black, blue, white, grey all that is too common and you've used these colours before. Use something bright, something that sticks out in your face type. Maybe run a limited edition, it will sell. Some orange, yellow, purple, pink. Glow in the dark. DO something different perhaps.
Its not like these colours are bad, its just diversity is a thing and variation is always different if not always appreciated. Get CBU's if you have to

Re: Team-BHP Hoodies v3 - Which Colours?

Went for the dark grey and dark navy blue - both will be a welcome change from the black we had both times previously, plus IMO the Team-BHP mono would look kickass on the dark-grey background!

Chose the Collar (No Hood) option because that would help wear it on most occasions. Since there isn't an option for a detachable/optional hoodie, a collared one gives the user that much more flexibility (of occasions) to flaunt it.

My vote goes to Black/Dark navy blue with no hood. It would look so cool with TBHP written over the arm and a small logo on the chest.
