I dunno. But for some reason, my earlier post went missing. So here's the question again.

It would be nice if you can list a few cars which can be fitted with this engine. As you know, there're very less cars sold here which comes with RWD.

Sorry for being a novice in this department.

HM Ambassador, PAL-Fiat Premier Padmini (maybe), HM Contessa, Standard Herald, off the top of my head.

Installation + braking + chassis + suspension, you're looking at an additional 50k, minimum.

Akshay, it's a straight six. I doubt if the engine bay of any of the cars you have entioned will be able to hold the engine. Unless psycho comes up with a psycho way of dropping it into one of these.

One thing I can defineately say is that it aint gonna be a daily driver.

Well if one could drop a v8 into a conti chassis an inline six would be kids play, however what happens to the chassis later would never be my problem

Personally I do not think any of the old indian rides would be able to take those kind of stresses.

I think its around 210-220 bhp stock (some body correct me if i am wrong)
I had read somewhere that engine is not that good for modification not much support for aftermarket parts rather get a 2JZ instead.

Yeah, it's only off the JDM Supras. USDM got it on the Mark II etc. 210 bhp is about right for it.

I think the stock car runs only 7 psi boost, not 14. Used to know someone in NZ who owned one...

Could someone please clarify?

K here to correct you all
its a 1g-gteu which was made in 1991 which was the gen 3 engine tht was the last of its kind and had 240 bhp stock RWD and it runs at 11 psi boost and u can push this to 14 which i am running in my car !

gen 1: Yellow ECU plugs and Yellow injectors. 0.50bar / 7psi.
gen 2: Yellow ECU plugs and pale Green injectors. 0.62bar / 9psi
gen 3: Grey ECU plugs and pale Green injectors. 0.75bar / 11psi

the above info is how u figure out the boost in this car
