Hit worked for me

Had a similar problem, all I did was use spray the car with HIT (especially under the seats and other nooks and crannies but not near the blower or the Dashboard). Kept the car shut for the rest of the day, aired it for a few hours before getting in, and am now rid of those pests.

looks like someone's talking from experience.
Just Kidding bro. Don't take it seriously.

Back to the topic - We faced a similar problem. Just sprayed HIT in the car and kpt it closed for a day and then aired it and cleaned it from inside. Point to remember, unless you air it properly, the car will stink of HIT.
Cheers

Had a similar problem a few days back. Sprayed Hit under the dash and in nooks, corners and holes and waited with the doors open. One by one 6 cockroaches scrambled out and jumped out of the open doors. Hit works really well.

simple tried & tested non-chemical method

There is only 1 fool-proof non-chemical method:
Take some flour (of which chapatis are made) 1/3 portion
Mix Boric powder (used while playing carrom) 2/3 portion
Wet this mixture and stick ***** in various locations where problem exists.

You will only need to throw out the dead pests later.

Hi!
hit/mortin etc etc will work. but the main problem is they use highly toxic(to humans) chemicals. if iam right they use a pesticide ( for agricultural use) after its use we should not be in the room for atleast an hour. we should not inhale it esp if one is allergic/asthamatic.

re: Cockroach Attack in my Car!

Happened to open the boot today of NHC, and discovered atleast 20 big cockroaches roaming around. Any solutions for this colossal problem ?

The car was lying parked for a month or so in the building's open parking.

re: Cockroach Attack in my Car!

Take it for a long drive, else drive through the slow moving traffic and am sure engine heat will take care of the rest

re: Cockroach Attack in my Car!

Cockroaches can survive a nuclear attack. Engine heat would not suffice.

I have already emptied half a can of Hit Spray. The car would go for clean-up on Friday. Anything else, can you people suggest?

re: Cockroach Attack in my Car!

The antidote given by ssl2uv108 works very well, but add a bit of sugar and ghee to the mixture.

Is this the way for sweet death?

Wouldn't sparying Hit/Baygon in the vents later affect when the AC is switched on? Hope this will not have a reverse reaction.

Ghodlur kind of a sweet death ,the sugar and ghee attract the cockroaches faster.Have tried this concoction at home and at a friends restaurant and it surely works,my home is free of cockroaches for the past 3 months.

Check this out. They are based out in Bangalore, but I am sure, similar ones will be there in your city too. I didn't have to try this in my car yet. But it works like a charm and have been getting their service for past 3 years at my home. Good thing is that its easy to get it done, no smell etc.
