To begin with, Telangana Government is keen on investing in Infrastructure. This news came out just this week that we would soon be seeing two major Logistics Hubs in Hyderabad. https://www.hmda.gov.in/Developdept12.aspx
Cross docking facilities like the ones above would be useful in
1) De-Consolidating shipments, repackaging and warehousing
2) Third Party Logistics Providers can make use of these facilities by renting out the space for carrying out additional services like labeling, palletizing, etc.
3) Trucking companies can use the hubs to facilitate safe and secure resting for their drivers. This will be an added advantage when the shipment requires a special service such as cold storage, etc |
