This guy has kidnapped and murdered his personal secretary Shashinath Jha in 1994. The new came to light after CBI probing at 1998. Four years :::::::

Well, thats just the Tis Hazari court's sentence. He can go upto SC to overrule the lower court's decision. And it may drag on for several more years. Although I am glad that somebody from those parts actually got a sentence for the crimes they commit.

this is the beauty of our judicial system.

he committed the crime when he was 50.

he's sentenced to life at 62. (after resignation he's already half dead man)

by the time he goes through the high court & the supreme court its gonna take another 10 years (approx) & he's gonna be almost dead.

there is greater probability of him being dead before the supreme court declares him guilty & reads the sentence (remember narsimha rao's case when he died before the court completed the enquiry & case was closed) than him serving the sentence & enjoy full three meals a day for 14 years.
