Hey!!

Kingfisher airlines has just entered a partnership deal with the Toyota F1 racing team

TOYOTA F1 TEAM official site

As per the deal, the Toyota's 2007 challenger TF 107 will sport the 'Fly Kingfisher' logo on its side pods. It will also appear on Trulli's and Ralf's overalls!!

Observe the logo on the side pods in the image at the following link

They would have rather spent that money by being associated with some Indian driver, mega grid and not one Indian name, tcha!

Well!! Nice to see another indian brand showing up at F1!!

I would agree with Ported_sir!! That could be more helpful to developing drivers from our part of the world. But that can still be done, right?

Although the logo placement on the car does look a bit obscure to me, kudos to Kingfisher!

Latest news from the Times of India - today's Bangalore Ed:

1. The deal is for 2 years and for about Rs. 40 crores
2. If things go well, India might have F1 by 2009
3. Dr. Vijay Mallya is already in talks with Ms. Shiela Dixit for hosting the F1 in Delhi, probably converting Rajpath into a F1 track
4. Sometime this year, KF air will down the drivers (Ralf & Trulli) to India as well as the 2007 car -TF107 which will showcased in India.
5. KF air will offer promos and lucky draws on their flights which will enable people to win race tickets!

Hey, Whose car does it part sponsor ... though it wud have been much better if Mallya had a full team running in the INRC , i mean he can spend 5% of what he has for getting KF logo onto a F1 car .. !!
