Re: How did you hear about team-bhp ?

I voted "Search Engine" but the fact is that everytime I wanted to do a roadtrip from Bangalore, I'd google it and sooner or later I realised that the best suggestions came from this black and grey forum that had all these cool-sounding characters doling out advice, most of it good!
This was back in 2004-06, became a member MUCH later!

Re: How did you hear about team-bhp ?

For a couple of years, I'd been watching my car-crazy friend (Needausername) hooked up to this website. I always thought it is something to do with posting photoes of super cars, so never bothered to check it myself, till I started looking for replacement of my old Alto. I quickly realised that mouthshut and other sites are useless. My friend then suggested there are some good honest reviews that you can find here on teambhp. Fortunately, that time, becoming a member here was easy. I heard now a days, becoming a member of South Mumbai club is easier than becoming member of team bhp.

Re: How did you hear about team-bhp ?

I was searching for tips and advice on my planned trip to Leh last year on Google. Invariably the best travelogs and advice came from team BHP. Also when the Mahindra Thar was introduced early this year, I found a lively discussion on the new vehicle with lots of debate for and mostly against the Thar.

The Team BHP website is a gold mine on all aspects related to travel and with very good sound advice.

Google as usual. I was searching for information for my next car upgrade. Hit this site multiple times. The quality of the posts were truly amazing. Glued to it ever since. Became a member very recently.
PS: Didn't know there were so many maniacs' like me out there.

Re: How did you hear about team-bhp ?

Believe it or not, my younger son told me about & registered me for this site!
At that time, it was'nt very well lnown.
But now it gets talked about on many other forums esp since its so tough to become a member.

Re: How did you hear about team-bhp ?

Through google search, was looking for weekend getaway when I chanced upon some travelogues. Then I went to the homepage and, as they say, rest is history!

Re: How did you hear about team-bhp ?

Thanks to Google for consistently showing Team BHP on the top of search results for automotive queries. I've been reading the threads since 2009 & finally decided to apply for the coveted membership in 2010, and got it instantly. Of late, it seems to be quite a Herculean task to become a TBHP member!

Thanks to Google. I was doing a search for Hyderabad-Chennai route and stumbled upon a team-bhp thread.

Re: How did you hear about team-bhp ?

I have no clue how I came into Team-Bhp. I took membership only recently, but I have been a very active reader of this site since around 2009 0r 2010 I guess. Still no clue how I heard/stumbled into this site.
