Ace Formula One driver Ralf Schumacher has a humourous side to him as well. In the city to promote the sport, when Ralf was questioned about what he’s seen of India and what he thought of it, he said, “I’ve been to Goa, now I’m in Mumbai and I’ll be going to Varanasi and Delhi later. I must say I’ve been pleasantly surprised and yes, the chicken curry was good too!”
Dr Vijay Mallya, who got him down to the city, said that they will be attending a charity event for destitute children in Varanasi and will be meeting the Chief Minister of Delhi, Shiela Dixit, later in the capital. About whether Formula One will come to India, Ralf replied, “It must come, it will come and when that happens, I hope I’m still around to race.”
