For now it's holding up, but I don't think long term maintenance is going to be easy or cheap. They also aren't setup to execute works in the south as yet.

Good luck.

And do remember murphy's law. Applies very well to getting a farm moving from ground up. Anything that can get delayed, Will !
True with delays. The entire process till now saw many delays and hiccups. Agriculture development is definitely not fast like Mumbai/ BLR city life. Now Iam in the stage to do the plantations as per plans. Will start small as far as rooms are concerned.

Re: Prefabricated House Options - Light Gauge Steel Frame

I am looking to build a 2000-2500 Sq ft home for five of us in Chennai. Kids will likely leave us in a few years and then we will be down to three. Am seriously considering Prefab for precision, speed and avoidance of regular construction headaches. Will try to visit a few sites in Bangalore and see. Found some good name builders and their photos of actual projects look good. Hope to go down this path but from initial research this is more expensive than B&M, maybe am wrong but will dig into this more.

May be you could share these here. Can help others who are looking for the same.

One of the names I came across: Tata. I think you would have seen Post #1 & #17 on the prev pages.
