Foreign minister's car crashed!

Pranab Mukherjee met with a serious accident in West Bengal when a lorry toppled over his car!

He was taken to a hospital in a rickshaw!

There was no ambulence in his convoy.

The car was bullet proof but not crash proof.

He survived just being a minister, he received such a prompt treatment. So, you can imagine plight of common in similar accident.

Why a rickshaw? Wasn't there another car in his convoy? What car was it?

Talk about security now. Our foreign minister has just his car in the convoy. Thats strange.

I hope it happens often ( if not everytime ) after all we all have the same blood. There are many who does not reach hospital in time.

Once one of my distant relative met with an accident and he was not moved to hospital until the inspector from the police station under which the car owner's address falls arrived at the incident. That's a good 6 hours. Till then my relative was kept at the location of the incident without being shifted to a hospital.

Why not the same treatment to so called VIPs?

If there's only one car, does it make it a convoy? :-)

No police escort jeeps? Man, every MLA worth or not worth his salt has one shooing people away. (Being cynical here)

Probably Pranab is a real humble guy with only a motorbike escort
