A pristine really well maintained Merc 280 TE W123 for sale. Full history available - it belonged to an American Multinational who sold it to their associate when the company wound up. Dark blue in colour. Maintained by United Motors and no expense spared - unmarked blue leather upholstry - bodywork clean and rust free - stored under cover Done approx 70000km.
Automatic transmission. Owner is a Merc lover and will only sell to a geniune collector. asking Rs 4 lakhs.

I nearly bought the car but backed out due to some personal financial commitments. Contact

4 lakhs! For a 20 year old car...even if it is a Benz, thats asking a little too much. You can pick up E220's for about 6 lakhs now.

A pristine condition Merc shouldnt be more than 2 laks, if u look at depreciation charts, and even if u ignore the charts, 84 model is a 20 odd year old car.

Rehaan ,can u share yr expiriences while selling yr Merc .
IF I remember correctly , u were planning to sell yr lovely Merc

I think that the situation with these kind of cars is..........its not about calculated depreciation at all. They are a different breed and as Ajmat has pointed out, its quite a rare piece too.

A purchase will be made only on sentiment. Or special value.

Think about my Jeep, the insurance value is only Rs.90000. I have spent many times that amount just on restoration. Quite honestly, I wouldnt even sell it for any amount of money. Its priceless...its invaluable...to me.

Spot on GTO.
My 1959 Amby would fetch me 10000/- at the most. Don't even remember how much I've spent so far. It's priceless and going to be with me as long as I'm here in this world.

think those are alloys

we had a similar dark blue 300td, was a nice car, even has cup holders for the rear jump seat, unlike normal station wagons, this jump seat used to face the hatch.

They are plastic wheel caps, the oriniginal steel caps and the star emblems have been removed to avoid theft.
